Longer biography

I was born in Madrid in 2000 into a bilingual family of architect parents. I studied at the German School of Madrid (DSM), which meant that German culture was always present in my life. At the age of 14, I had my first international experience as an exchange student in Berlin, a city whose rhythm and atmo sphere left a profound impression on me. Years later, that connection led me to move to Halle (Saale), Germany, to study graphic design.

Throughout my studies, I consistently maintained a parallel artistic practice, developing projects such as mural painting and short filmmaking. Later on, I expanded my Erasmus experience in Urbino, Italy, where I focused on editorial illustration. Thanks to the flexibility of the university in Halle, I was able to collaborate on several textile-related projects, through which I discovered textile monotopy. This led to a series of textile prints that became the basis for my first exhibition, titled Palazzo.

My involvement in university life, together with the focus of my work during my studies, was recognized with the DAAD Award, granted annually to outstanding international students. After completing my studies in Germany, I undertook an internship in textile printing in Stockholm, Sweden, an experience that led me to dedicate myself to designing prints for fashion and interior design brands.

Now back in Madrid, Spain, I have my studio in the Carabanchel district, where different disciplines merge. My artistic practice is structured through a system of planes in which each one corresponds to a discipline, yet none exists in isolation. All of them relate to one another, intersect, and remain open to integration and constant connection.

At the core lie drawing and painting, which function as the foundation of my visual language. I am interested in inhabiting the intermediate point between the graphic and the abstract, generating a narrative in which both universes coexist.
Around this core emerges my interest in architecture, which translates into the reinterpretation of buildings and urban constructions. These spaces are not static: they are often inhabited or intervened by creatures that hide, adapt, or transform within the composition, expanding the plane toward the imaginary.

Another dimension is constructed through textiles, which I incorporate as a support to transfer the visual into the realm of the material. I understand this dimension as an installational extension of the image: something that occupies space, that can be walked through.

The next layer is situated in the urban sphere. I work with adhesive vinyl, creating ephemeral interventions that arise from an expansive intuition, where color and the composition of forms unfold explosively across the surface, directly engaging in dialogue with the environment.

Finally, the outer skin envelops everything within an audiovisual framework. In my videos, the landscape takes on a leading role, while the characters inter act with it through a logic that combines absurd humor with manipulated dramatization. In this way, situations are generated that awaken curiosity and unease, extending the same tensions present throughout the rest of my practice.
