Sticky Window explores the use of adhesive vinyl as both a narrative and design medium. The project spans from smaller works on phone cases to large-scale urban collages on façades in public spaces. The act of placing stickers, whether as a personal gesture or as part of larger works, becomes a visible trace, a dialogue, and a shared intervention.
A central question emerges: How can a story be translated into public space, and how does it integrate with its surfaces and contexts? Shop windows serve not only as commercial display areas but also as interfaces between inside and outside, acting as storytellers, message bearers, and integral parts of the city’s visual identity.

The exhibition was a showcase of various works and experiments with adhesive vinyl. During the first two days, I organized an open workshop to share and introduce participants to this material. We began with a few “sticky rounds”. In each round, one participant would choose a theme that we applied in the form of stickers directly onto an object. Then, the object was passed to the person on the right, starting a new adhesive round. In this way, all the objects eventually became part of the same universe… or perhaps a plague? After several interactive rounds of cutting and sticking, the table was covered with small scraps of vinyl. Each participant had to take inspiration from one of these shapes or leftover “micro-stickers” and recreate it on a larger scale. Finally, we pasted the pieces onto the windows, creating a giant collage.
